U.S. 30-year mortgage rates fell to 7.41% in the most recent week, according to the MBA, from 7.61% in the prior two weeks, sustaining a 5-week pull-back from a 23-year high of 7.90% in October. The markets have anticipated a dovish pivot by the Fed’s tightening seven times since November 2021, according to Deutsche Bank’s Thematic Research report, published on Wednesday.
