📉 Markets Pull Back

The majors slid Tuesday as traders returned from Labor Day to a selloff in long-dated U.S. debt and renewed fiscal concerns. Tariff uncertainty also weighed after a U.S. appeals court ruled most of Trump’s levies illegal, a decision the administration is appealing to the Supreme Court.

VIX ticked higher as September got off to its usual rocky start.

📊 Tech & Antitrust

$GOOGL popped after a judge ruled it won’t be forced to spin off Chrome or Android. It must share search data with rivals but penalties were lighter than expected.
$AAPL also gained since the ruling allows Google to keep paying billions to remain Safari’s default search engine.

🏦 Fed & Beige Book

The Fed releases its Beige Book today, the last broad look at the economy before September’s policy meeting. July’s report flagged sticky costs and tariff concerns. This week also brings JOLTS, private payrolls, jobless claims, and Friday’s August employment report.

💻 Earnings Watch

$CRM (Salesforce) after the bell, as investors test whether AI-fueled optimism still holds in enterprise software.
$DLTR also reports today, with Walmart, Target, and Dollar General showing mixed but steady sales trends.
$HPE, $CPB, $M, $AI, $GTLB all set to post results this week.

🪙 Gold Surges

Gold hit an all-time high of $3,547/oz before steadying near $3,600 futures as safe-haven demand spiked. Silver is tracking higher near $41.6/oz.

📈 QQQ Recap

The $QQQ dipped intraday but found buyers under 560, closing at 565.62 (-0.84%). Bulls defending this level, but volume break under 560 could open the door to 550 fast.
